Why choose ALPHASHINE’s King West Car Waxing Service?
Over time, your vehicle’s paintwork is exposed to harsh environmental elements—UV rays, rain, road salt, and pollutants—that can dull its shine and accelerate the aging process. These factors not only diminish your car’s appearance but can also compromise the integrity of the clear coat. ALPHASHINE’s professional wax service is designed to combat these effects by adding a protective barrier that keeps your vehicle looking vibrant and well-maintained.
Using high-quality wax formulas, our King West team applies a smooth, even layer over the paint surface to seal in shine and shield against daily wear. This protective coat enhances the gloss and depth of your vehicle’s finish while repelling water, dust, and contaminants—making future washes easier and more effective.
Waxing is more than just an aesthetic enhancement—it’s an essential part of preserving your vehicle’s exterior and maintaining long-term value. Whether part of a routine detail or applied after paint correction, ALPHASHINE’s wax service helps extend the life of your finish and keeps your car looking its best, year-round.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why should I wax my car?
Waxing adds a protective layer over your vehicle’s paint that shields it from UV rays, water, road salt, and other contaminants. It also enhances gloss and helps preserve the paint’s vibrancy over time.
How long does the wax protection last?
Our premium wax finish typically lasts 2 to 3 months, depending on how often the vehicle is washed and exposed to the elements. For long-lasting protection, we recommend reapplication every season.
Is waxing included in a regular car wash at the King West location?
No, waxing is a separate detailing service. While a wash cleans the surface, waxing protects and enhances it. We perform a full exterior detail before applying any wax to ensure proper bonding and finish.
Will waxing remove scratches?
Waxing does not remove scratches, but it can temporarily fill in very light surface imperfections and improve the appearance of your paint. For actual scratch removal, we recommend our paint correction service.
Can I add wax after a paint correction or ceramic coating?
Wax can be added after paint correction to enhance shine and short-term protection. However, if you’ve applied a ceramic coating, additional wax is not necessary and may reduce the coating’s effectiveness.
How long does the service take at the King West location?
The full wax finish service typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours, including the exterior detailing and hand-buffing process. Timing may vary depending on vehicle size and condition.
Is wax safe for all paint types?
Yes, we use high-quality, automotive-safe waxes that are compatible with all modern clear coats and paint finishes.
Add-ons
All standard vehicles are priced the same except oversized and excessively dirty vehicles; they will be charged at a $120/hr basis.
